  1. Navigate to the free font download website Dafont.
  2. Click on the style of font that you are looking for in the menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll through the fonts until you find a font you wish to download.
  4. Click the “Download” button located on the right-hand side of the screen. For Windows users a window will pop-up asking if you want to “Open with” or “Save file.” Check “Open with” and click “Ok.” A new window will open and you will see the font listed. For Mac users the download will begin automatically

Install Free Fonts on Windows

  1. Click on the file that reads “True Type or Open Type Font File” in the “Type” column. A pop-up window will appear displaying the font and all its size variants.
  2. Click the “Install” button to install the font.
  3. Check the installation. Open a word processing or text-editing application. Check the font box to see if you font is displayed. If the application was already open before you installed the font then restart the app to enable the font to be used.

  1. Open “Finder.” Click on the “Applications” menu.
  2. Scroll down to “Font Book.” Double-click on the icon to open it.
  3. Open the “Downloads” folder.
  4. Double-click on the font download zip file to unzip it.
  5. Drag-and-drop the font”.tff” file into the “Font Book” window. The font will be installed
